Masau fruit is at the heart of Zimasa Vodka — so we’re committed to putting back what we take. Since 2023, we’ve been planting Masau trees across rural Zimbabwe, working with local communities, schools, traditional leadership and the Forestry Commission of Zimbabwe.
2023 — 50 trees, Kawondera Primary School, Murombedzi, Chief Chirau area
Our first planting, carried out with the local school and under Chief Chirau’s area.
2024 — 100 trees, Muzarabani, Zambezi Valley
Planted in partnership with the Forestry Commission of Zimbabwe and the district council, with local communities involved throughout.
December 2025 — 200 trees, Mauwe area, Zambezi Valley
Our largest planting yet, again delivered alongside the Forestry Commission of Zimbabwe and district council, with strong local community participation.
That’s over 350 Masau trees planted in three years — and we’re not stopping there.
