This notice explains how Vine Beverages Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you visit zimasavodka.co.uk, buy from us or contact us. We are the data controller.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Order details: name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, the products you buy and your order history.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe and Klarna. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Age check: your confirmation that you are 18 or over, stored as a cookie on your device.
- Messages: anything you send us through our contact form, email, phone or social media.
- Marketing choices: whether you have asked to receive our emails.
- Reviews: reviews you choose to leave on our site or on Trustpilot.
- Website use: IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technology.
3. How we use it and our lawful basis
- To process, deliver and support your order, including handling returns and refunds. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep tax and accounting records and check you are old enough to buy alcohol. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To reply to your enquiries, prevent fraud and improve our website and products. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running and growing our business.
- To send marketing emails. Only if you have asked for them, by ticking the box at checkout or joining the Zimasa Club. Lawful basis: consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Advertising and analytics cookies (such as the Meta Pixel and Google tags). Lawful basis: consent.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Delivery companies: Royal Mail, DHL, Yodel and InPost
- Payment providers: Stripe and Klarna
- Email marketing: Brevo
- Website hosting: Namecheap
- Advertising and analytics: Meta and Google
- Reviews: Trustpilot
- Our accountants, and HMRC or other authorities where the law requires it
Some of these companies process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK-approved safeguards, such as the UK-US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
5. How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for tax purposes.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe. We then keep a record of your email address only so we do not contact you again.
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
- Cookies: as set out in your browser and cookie settings.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal information
- ask us to correct information that is wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
- ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing

7. Keeping your information safe
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to your information is limited to people who need it to do their job.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
